Faith Hope Love
is born out of a desire to share wisdom and creativity.
In an alternative universe I might have been a teacher, the compunction in me to soak up information and pass it along is strong. But I am content.

Since the first germ of an idea to hold physical groups
in my local church where:
Faith=study/learning the Word;
Hope=joining together in prayer; and
Love=spending time in God's presence;
I have wrestled with what to do and how/when to do it.
God has been in the shaping of thoughts and ideas that have continually morphed and developed since 2018/19.
Exodus 35.31-33
Then Moses said to the Israelites, ‘See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills – to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers – all of them skilled workers and designers.
Faith Hope Love
is firmly based in 1 Corinthians 13:13 but a part of its inspiration also lies in Exodus 35. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, away from the slavery of his people which had existed for many generations, the Lord gifted Bezalel and Oholiab with 'all kinds of skills' through the Holy Spirit. With zero skillset beyond making clay bricks, it was necessary for God to step in if he wanted the Tabernacle to be constructed and his chosen people to survive. While the content of this website and associated media platforms may not be necessary for physical survival, I pray and trust that the rich and varied skills with which I have been gifted will sustain and nurture you; and glorify Almighty God.

Faith Hope Love
is a website designed to draw together a number of resources while, at the same time, providing links to diverse social media platforms and access to various online or in-person small gathering events.
Although there is some degree of overlap - and all elements can be subscribed to from this website - you may wish to subscribe to individual Faith-Hope-Love social media platforms:

Faith - studying the Word of God - via Facebook: exploring, discussing and sharing in the Word of God.
Hope - praying as the Lord directs - via Instagram: using images to inspire, encourage, prompt and comfort.
Love - dwelling in God's presence - via YouTube: videos designed to help you spend time in God's presence.

While it's great to have regular encouragements pinged directly to your phone or inbox, there's something special about meeting together in friendship and fellowship. Many Christians are already involved in their local church communities - but not everyone, for a variety of reasons. And it can often be invaluable to take part in 'special events', either because it's on a specific topic; it will mean meeting a different group of like-minded people; or it will provide kinship for the lone Christian or Seeker. So Faith-Hope-Love is also about providing those small-gathering opportunities. It is my hope to provide short 6-8 week study courses later on but, for now, I am hosting a number of online and in-person morning or afternoon 'workshops' where we can:
Pray through the Psalms; take Joy in Journeying with the Lord; or Come and be Collectively Creative!
